Scholarship Application

The purpose of this Wisconsin Narcotics Officers Association College Scholarship Program is to:

- Assist individuals in the furtherance of their formal education;
- To support anti-drug efforts by providing financial assistance to individuals who desire to develop a career in law enforcement; and
- To promote educational efforts by recognizing scholastic achievement.

The emphasis of these scholarships will be on merit, taking into consideration scholastic aptitude, academic performance, participation in school activities, service to the community, personal recommendations and other pertinent information from the student's application. Up to five (5) one-thousand dollar scholarships may be awarded annually.

Specific requirements include that the student:
- Must be a high school junior or senior or college freshman (who has applied in the past has not received the scholarship)
- Must have a 2.5 or higher grade point average
- Must have a SAT or ACT score
- Must be attending or planning to enroll at an accredited college or university as a full-time student, as defined by the school

Final decisions for granting of the scholarship will be based on a recommendation by the Scholarship Selection Committee.
